Poehland kidney shaped “Model C” brown violin shoulder pad/rest - To suit 1/2-1/4 size violin.

Invented in the early 1900‘s in Brooklyn USA by Bernhard Ponhlano (Poehland), this shoulder pad has survived the test of time.

The Kidney shaped velour pad is mounted onto a leather strap which from one end is fatened onto the violin button/stud and held in place from the opposite end via a rubber band which secures itself on the corner of the violin rib.

A low profile shoulder pad which would suit players with shorter necks or players wanting an intermediate shoulder rest as they transition to using no shoulder rest at all.

Manufactured in the USA by RDM enterprises.
